After many years of extensive monitoring and reporting on issues related to children and their coverage by the media, we have found that the representation of children in the media remains limited and problematic. This ongoing problem highlights the need for continuous monitoring of how the media reports on matters involving children to ensure increased reporting on children’s issues in a responsible and ethical manner.
