This has caused the IEC to form partnerships with other digital platforms such as Google, Meta, Microsoft, Moxii Africa, and TikTok to combat misinformation and keep the integrity of the organisation intact. The IEC said most complaints are about X posts, which include misuse of photographs and AI-generated content.
