The committee received presentations on the progress of the BDM programme from the Department of Communications and Digital Technologies, the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa, the Media Development and Diversity Agency, the South African Broadcasting Corporation, Sentech, the State Information Technology Agency, the Universal Service and Access Agency of South Africa, the South African Post Office, eMedia Holdings, the Association of Community Televisions of South Africa, the SOS Support Public Broadcasting Coalition and Media Monitoring Africa.
