(“Independent Expert”), focusing specifically on the impact of new technologies and digital platforms on the enjoyment of all human rights by older persons. Effective online protection for older persons online requires a multi-layered approach involving States, businesses, and civil society. MMA commends the continued, proactive work undertaken by the Independent Expert to further this multi-layered approach and hopes that these submissions have proven useful.
